| Burns and Roe Enterprises, Inc. will be an engineering design subcontractor to Helix Electric, Inc., of San Diego, California on a $52 million firm-fixed-price contract at the main naval base in Agana, Guam. This design-build project will include the design and construction to harden the primary electrical distribution system serving critical operational facilities on the main base to mitigate damage caused by typhoons.

Additionally, the project will construct concrete enclosures to house substation power transformers and switchgear at the base. Burns and Roe will be responsible for electrical, mechanical and civil engineering design for the project.
