| Burns and Roe Enterprises, Inc. has announced that Michael R. Rippy has joined the organization as Vice President of Sales for the Power Division of the company. In this capacity, he will develop and execute strategies to increase opportunities in our growing market share in traditional and non-traditional power generating industries.
Mr. Rippy brings valuable experience to Burns and Roe as a sales executive and international licensee coordinator, having assisted and guided contract negotiations for large scale combined cycle power plants. His negotiations with leading global OEM firms include GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Pratt & Whitney, Dynegy and others.
Prior to joining Burns and Roe, Mr. Rippy was a Vice President of Sales at Braden Manufacturing LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he directed the sales organization, increasing the company’s market share, revenues and earnings. Mr. Rippy also worked as International Sales Manager for Nooter/Eriksen, Inc., where he developed and managed sales strategies for new and existing global markets. Mr. Rippy holds an MBA from Washington University, St. Louis and a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Missouri.
