| The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation awarded Burns and Roe Services Corporation a contract for the operations, maintenance and repair of the Paradox Valley Unit, a salinity control facility operating as part of the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program. The Paradox Valley Unit mission is to reduce the salinity levels of the Dolores (and ultimately the Colorado) River, and to enhance the supply and quality of water available in the United States and Mexico. Burns and Roe will continue operating and maintaining this plant, located in Bedrock, Colorado. The new contract is a 5 year fixed-price, award fee contract (Base Year and 4 option years). The total value of the contract is approximately $7.2 million if all options are exercised.
