 Manager, Supply Management – Project Procurement : Commercial Nuclear (Oradell or Mt. Laurel, NJ)
 
 The Procurement Department is seeking a Manager, Supply Management – Project Procurement to support our Commercial Nuclear efforts. This position will be located in Oradell or Mt. Laurel, NJ. This professional will provide Procurement Management services for home or area office based project procurement functions associated with placement and administration of project purchase orders and subcontracts for equipment, materials, services, and construction, including procedure and documentation compliance, subcontract administration, in support of Burns and Roe Enterprises, Inc. and affiliate companies’ projects. Position Requirements: 1. BS or BA Degree 2. CPM or NCMA Certification desired 3. 15+ years progressively responsible work experience in procurement functions focused within the Commercial Nuclear industry 4. 5+ years in a supervisory and project related capacity; demonstrated abilities to supervise and motivate subordinates 5. Substantial knowledge of commercial terms and conditions with government procurement regulations a strong preference 6. Experienced with working under Quality Requirements of: a. 10CFR50 Appendix B, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Power Plants b. 10CFR830 Subpart A, Quality Assurance Requirements c. ASME NQA-1 1994 and ASME NQA-1, Parts I and III d. DOE Order 414.1C preferred 7. Strong negotiation and sound business judgment skills 8. Significant understanding of supply chain management and supplier economics 9. Excellent skills in oral and written communication. Principal Duties: 1. Manage the performance of project procurement functions associated with placement and administration of project purchase orders and subcontracts for equipment, materials, services, and construction. These functions include, but are not limited to, consulting agreements, construction contracts and subcontracts, leases of equipment and real property and all other purchases whether placed by the Corporation for a client account or as agent for the account of others, or placed by clients or by others with assistance from the Corporation. 2. When procurement services are required for a project, assign home or area office based personnel required to perform procurement functions consistent with project schedules. 3. Maintains and updates as required, procurement documentation and procedures for use on domestic and international projects. Includes Equipment Standard Bid Packages and BRE Procurement Manual. 4. Reviews and approves the procurement Section included in Project Execution Manuals. 5. Maintains the Federal Government approved procurement System. 6. Execute, subject to the limits contained in written delegation, all project procurement documents (purchase orders, subcontracts, leases, and consultant agreement). 7. Support the Burns and Roe sales, marketing, and proposal efforts including participation in the decision making process related to supplier involvement, selection, and pricing. 8. Develop new sources of supply and construction and improve old sources to assure availability of materials and services of adequate quantity and quality, at lowest possible prices and who can meet schedule requirement. 9. Establish strategic supplier alliances in support of all BR Business groups. 10. Monitors project activities to verify compliance with Burns and Roe Procurement policies and procedures. 11. Provides direct project procurement support as required. 12. Prepares department reports, studies, and performs various activities as requested by the Vice President Supply Management and Corporate Services. Burns & Roe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
